Holy freeze is probably best especially with decrep (massive crowd control and thus reduced damage output from e.g. Or alternatively an a2 might or holy freeze merc with shael'd reaper's toll + IAS'd Kira (cbf+res) + treachery for 75% breakpoint and decrep proc as well as fade. Prolly don't need the insight mana regen with soj and a high enough BO + the occasional Redemption though, so it seems kind of a waste. I'm thinking the primary competition would be either an a2 Prayer merc with insight (thresher) + treachery + ias/FR Andy's for 75% breakpoint and max resists+fade proc as well as great hp/mana regen for the luxury of only having to pot when taking heavy damage. Not sure on FF base - probably something with high def to reduce chance of proccing lower resist on Plague. I'm wondering if an A5 merc with lawbringer (sanctuary aura + decrep), plague (cleansing aura and maybe an annoying occasional lower resist proc) + flickering flame (fire res aura) + maybe an ias'd duriel's shell (for CBF for faster procs - tyraels might might be even better, but I don't have it) could out-compete an a2 merc since you don't need infinity as a hammerdin? I'm thinking phase blades would be the best bases for the two weapon runewords since I'm not going for high damage on the merc, but rather fast procs. I'm trying to figure out the best merc setup(s) for a standard 125 fcr cookie-cutter hammerdin running primarily P8 CS on SP HC (enigma/hoto/cta/spirit/magefist/1soj+1x10fcr rings/WTs and so on).
